    What you’ll be doing

    We are looking for a Head of Engagement and Community Investment to lead the delivery of CHP’s customer engagement and community investment strategy as a whole-organisation activity, inspiring and enabling colleagues across CHP to hear and act on our customers’ voice. You will also support and empower customers, communities, and colleagues to ensure the positive impact of engagement and community investment in the areas we work.

      • Lead on the implementation of our Customer Engagement and Community Investment Strategy, supporting the delivery of CHP’s mission and Corporate Strategy.
      • Provide the directorate and wider organisation with expert advice, information and insight on current best practice in customer engagement and co-design, to ensure we are optimising the effectiveness and efficiency of our work.
      • Ensure customers are integral to our governance structure with their views well represented and acted upon at Senior Management, Executive, and Board level.
      • Put in place, manage and keep under review measures to monitor and evaluate our engagement and community impact, to identify areas of strength and development and to lead on delivering recommended changes.
      • Positively contribute to our senior management team, collaborating with and influencing senior colleagues across CHP to ensure we are focused on putting our customers at the centre of all we do, seeking and valuing the views of all customers, and enabling customers to hold us to account.

     

    What we’re looking for

      • Educated to degree level or equivalent or equivalent demonstrable prior learning and experience.
      • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
      • Strong relationship building, networking and influencing skills.
      • Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise to meet deadlines and manage multiple pieces of work at one time..
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
